SLEEP is not only important, but also has the power to unlock our potential. Let's unravel its mysteries and open up the future of sports science.

Chronic sleep loss or “sleep debt,” has been shown to increase the risk of various diseases. Sleep loss also impairs our abilities to perform sports such as concentration, attention and endurance. Even athletes who appear to be healthy are no exception to this rule. It has been generally accepted that daytime sleepiness due to lack of enough sleep not only deteriorates performance skills but also increases the risk of injuries. I believe that sleep is the most essential for healthy mental state for all, especially for athletes. It is also important to investigate the relationship between sports, sleep, and mental health to ameliorate the overall health of the population, as well as improve the conditioning of athletes. My goal is to conduct scientific research that yield beneficial effect on both the human health and people in the field of sports.
