Dr. Oi has over 25 years of real-world experience in the sports business, working on the front lines at Dentsu, one of Japan’s leading marketing and communications companies. He’s been deeply involved in sports projects both in Japan and internationally, especially across Asia—focusing on countries like China, South Korea, and throughout the ASEAN region. His main passion and area of expertise is football (soccer), but his knowledge spans a wide range of sports.

What makes Dr. Oi’s work stand out is his unique approach: he looks at sports not just as games, but as a powerful part of business and strategy. He explores how major events like the World Cup, as well as National teams, leagues, clubs, and even individual athletes, are planned, promoted, and managed.
